On Edinburgh's doorstep: travel away from Edinburgh into the Lothians and very soon you will find yourself in a world of beautiful coastlines, lush countryside, quiet country villages and rolling green hills. Dotted around this picturesque scene are ancient castles and stately homes, unspoilt beaches and country parks. There are splendid golf courses, which include the course where Mary Queen of Scots once enjoyed the game.

Rest of Scotland : as the gateway to Scotland, Edinburgh is the ideal starting point for exploring the country's compelling beauty.

An information stand from the Edinburgh Convention Bureau/Tourist Board will be present at the conference (mainly during refreshment breaks) to assist delegates.

And I'll be in Scotland afore ye."
