The Edinburgh Convention Bureau will handle hotel reservations in the following list of hotels in Edinburgh, where special rates have been negotiated for the duration of the conference. Online hotel reservations through the Convention Bureau can be made here .
Modifications or cancellations of reservations made through the Bureau can be done directly via the system at no extra charge up to 6 weeks before the conference starts (15 May 2006). After this date delegates will no longer be able to access the reservation system, so they are advised to contact their hotel directly to make any changes. No charges will be incurred, unless delegates fail to arrive or cancel a reservation within 24 hrs of expected arrival, in which case the hotel could charge the cost of the first night stay.

"Everybody has heard of the Little House in the Kensington Gardens, which is the only house in the whole world that the fairies have built for humans. But no one has really seen it, except just three or four, and they have not only seen it but slept in it, and unless you sleep in it you never see it. This is because it is not there when you lie down, but it is there when you wake up and step outside."
