The JACoW Site
The Proceedings of eleven accelerator conference series (APAC, EPAC, PAC, CYCLOTRONS, DIPAC, ICALEPCS, ICAP, ICFA ABDW, LINAC and RuPAC) are published at the Joint Accelerator Conferences Website (JACoW).
Thanks to the PAC project to scan proceedings from the pre-electronic era, it has been possible to publish all PAC proceedings back to 1965. The EPAC scanning project will soon have published all proceedings back to 1988.
In general, each Conference retains the Copyright to their proceedings but allows that copies of single articles may be taken from this site, provided that the source is acknowledged.
Conference papers have been processed using Adobe Acrobat software. Acrobat Reader 3 or later is required.
It is possible to search for papers using a form based on the Inktomi Search Engine, which sets various parameters to limit the search to the appropriate areas. Full Boolean searches are possible and once the search has been submitted it can be refined using the Inktomi form.
The JACoW site is maintained by the editorial boards of the various conferences participating in the JACoW collaboration. The European server is located at CERN, and for the convenience of users is mirrored to a server at KEK in Japan.
In January 2003, JACoW purchased a domain name, http://www.JACoW.org/ and re-modelled the site so that all conference proceedings and JACoW information is now available from this site.
